Day 1 : Arrive - Phnom Penh
Welcome to Phnom Penh-the city which holds French Villas and large tree-line sidewalk. Take rest for some time and move on to the colorful Khmer-style royal palace complex build in 1866 by the Predecessors of King Norodom. Visit the Silver Pagoda located near the palace and explore great fun. It is an emerald Buddha temple that contains a number of Buddha Statutes decorated with gold, diamond, gemstone and silver.
Proceed to the Independence Monument and explore the National Museum that holds more than 5000 antiques. Cross through the river- Front Park where 4 rivers meet at a junction include Mystical Mekong. Just walk towards the sacred hill Phnom Daun Penh and experience the pleasant moment. Enjoy your dinner and overnight stay at Phnom Penh.
Day 2 : Phnom Penh Exploration
On this day, start your tour by visiting the Tuol Sleng Prison (Genocide Museum), the most important part of Khmer Rouge regime. It is also called as S-21 which means Security Office 21. Proceed to Choeung Ek Museum and look over the places around the area. It is believed that about 17,000 men, women and children were tortured at the S-21 during the ancient period.
Just forget this spot and move to the shopping at the Russian market. Our tour guide will take you to a cruise to see the sunset on the Mekong and Tonle Sap river in the “Four Arms” section where the Mekong meets the Tonle Sap river before splitting into two branches. Move to Phnompenh for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 : Phnom Penh - Siem Reap
Take a morning flight to Siem Reap. Move to the hotel and enjoy the day in Siemreap with Angkor, the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, proceed to Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang and Banteay Srei (ancient temple). You will be taken to a place named “Banteay Samre” to view the rose-coloured sandstone walls decorated with carvings. Then, our guide will stop at one of the oldest pagoda-Wat Bo and local market. Enjoy the welcome dinner with Apsara and move to overnight stay at Siemreap.
Day 4 : Siem Reap Exploration
On this day, the tour guide will enable you to explore Angkor by an easy biking on less traveled road. You can just ride along the trails and pass through the local villages with great fun. After reaching Angkor Wat, visit the beautiful temples including The ancient capital of Angkor Thom, the South Gate, Bayon Temple – unique with its 54 towers, Baphuon temple and the north of Bayon represented of holy Mount Meru. You will be taken to Terrace of the Leper King, The Royal Land and the Elephant Terrace. Return back to Siemreap downtown for dinner. Spend the end of the day by getting into the pubs, clubs at Angkor night market. You can also for one hour foot massage at request. Overnight stay in Siemreap.
Day 5 : Siem Reap - Departure
Get up early in the morning and enjoy the sunrise over the ancient land of Angkor area. Proceed to the hotel and take a boat trip to explore Tonle Sap in South East Asia. Enjoy the day in floating villages, floating restaurants and floating schools. You will be taken to Artisans d’ Angkor Silk where the silk is processed into material. Move back to the airport for your departure.
