Day 1 - 2 : Mumbai

To make a tour through the heart of north and south India, arrive in Mumbai. Owing to its well accessibility, Mumbai will act as a perfect base for your trail. Overnight stay in the hotel in Mumbai that has been pre-arranged for you.

On the 2nd day of the trip, explore the major tourist attractions housed in the city. This would include a trip to the Hanging Gardens, Prince of Wales Museum, Marine Drive, Gateway of India, and most importantly an excursion to the 7th century rock-cut wonders– the Elephanta Caves.

Visit the markets of Mumbai in the evening to capture glimpses of Mumbai nightlife.

Day 3 - 5 : Mumbai - Goa

Early morning on the 3rd day of the Gateway to West and South India tour, head towards Goa; a paradise for tourists coming from all global destinations. The short air travel between these 2 destinations will take you not more than 1.5 hours. Therefore, on reaching the city you can immediately start off your tour across the city. The prime attractions in Goa include the medieval churches housed within the city, the scenic beaches, the flea markets, and most importantly the local restaurants that serve authentic sea food and other Konkani delicacies. Therefore, for the next 2 days explore this city like never before and discover the hidden secrets of Goa tours. Besides sightseeing, you can also undertake a number of adventure activities in the beaches of Goa like scuba diving, surfing, parasailing and snorkeling etc. However, the best way to capture the beauty of the beaches is to laze around in its silvery sands; therefore do carry back home the great tropical tan on your body, on completion of the Gateway to West and South India tour.

Day 6 - 7 : Goa - Belgaum - Badami

On the 6th day of the tour, travel southwards to the enchanting state of Karnataka. The first destination that you will arrive here is Belgaum enroute to Badami. Visit the popular attractions of Belgaum like the Belgaum Fort and the St. Mary’s Church, before you arrive in Badami by late afternoon.

On the 7th day of the trail, explore the monumental wonders of Badami. The ancient rock-cut caves and temples that are housed here are places that still entice the onlooker on their very first glance. The popular attractions of the place include the Bhutanatha temple, Banashankari temple, and the Tipu Sultan’s fort.

Day 8 : Badami - Aihole - Pattadakal - Hospet

Day 13 - 14 : Madikeri - Mysore

Early morning, post-breakfast embark on tours to Mysore to capture the heritage of the state from an altogether different angle. Visit the Mysore Palace, the Chamundi hills, and the Jagmohan Palace and the in house museum housed in its midst. Reserve the evening for taking a trip across the enchanting Vrindavan Gardens. On the 14th day of the tour, embark on excursions to Somnathpur. The temples of Somnathpur are places of great reverence for the devotees and the wonderful Hoysala architectural styles will completely arrest your senses.

Day 15 : Mysore - Srirangapatnam - Bangalore

Walk through the streets of Mysore and capture glimpses of its cultural and historical heritage before you leave for Bangalore, the last destination in the circuit. Enroute you will stop over at Srirangapatnam to feast your eyes on the historical sites housed here. The forts and palaces of Hyder Ali and his warrior son Tipu Sultan, Jumma Masjid, and the Ranganathittu bird sanctuary are the foremost attractions housed here.

Day 16 : Bangalore - Mumbai

Today you will transfer to airport catch your flight to Mumbai and departure.
